My kids are whiz on computers. The two older ones anyway. They are six and eight.
If there is something that needs to be done on a computer, my kids can do it. While this may seem a little scary at times, I am thrilled that my children have embraced technology. It is exciting to share something that I love so much with them.
Since the Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer came into our home a few months ago, my son has been fascinated with them.
He loves the touchscreen and is frequently asking questions while I am doing laundry. Lately I have been letting him program the machine every time we do laundry. Several times during the past month, I have let my son be completely in charge of the laundry. He gathers the clothing, puts it in the washer and programs it for what kind of laundry is in there.
This teaches him responsibility and really lets him have a little fun playing with a different kind of computer. Not that a lot of folding gets done but it is a start.
This washer and dryer pair is definitely an amazing innovation. They make our lives easier and better in so many ways.
Here are a few on my favorite things:
I have also noticed that our detergent usage has gone down considerably which is a definite bonus. I have thought for years that everyone in my family used way too much detergent and these past few months have proven that to be true.
Have you found ways in which your appliances make your life easier? What are your favorite amazing innovations?
