We all know that beauty is more than skin deep, right? If you are anything like me, then you want glowing, healthy skin. Glowing skin is something that I think everyone wants but we aren't sure how to achieve. For years I got facials at a spa on a monthly basis because I am very obsessed with keeping my skin looking as good as it possibly can. I have literally spent thousands of dollars over the years at spas in my local area. While return on my investment has been great (my skin looks and feels amazing), I had to wonder if that was the best use of my money.

It has only been in the past year that I have considered that perhaps what I am doing for the inside of my body is just as important as what I do for the outside. I think that the key for taking great care of your skin is really educating yourself and making certain that you know the right things to do for healthy, glowing skin. Here are 5 Ways to Get Glowing Skin and the tips that we use to take of our skin from the inside out!

5 Ways to Get Glowing Skin

1. Drink lots of water.

Skin is an organ made up of cells and like all organs, they need water to properly function. If your skin doesn't get the water it needs, it will feel dry, flaky and tight. Drink at least 8 glasses of water each day to rid your skin and body of toxins. By increasing my water intake, I found that my skin was glowing and looked much healthier. Hydrated skin is happy skin. 5 Ways to Get Glowing Skin

2. Use a humidifier to combat dry skin.

This is something that we always have going in our house. I have pretty dry skin so besides actively moisturizing, the humidifier keeps my skin from feeling too tight or looking too dehydrated.

3. Take a great multivitamin.

There are several vitamins and supplements that can help you take great care of yourself plus they also may improve the health and quality of your skin. Taking a daily multivitamin ensures that your body is getting everything that it needs.

Garlic contains sulphur which not only helps to prevent infections but also reduces inflammation, enhances blood flow and leaves your skin with a natural glow.
