We love hosting movie nights around here. The weather is so warm in Georgia for most of the year that we can even have outdoor movie nights a lot of the time. We have hosted our fair share of fun movie nights, and this time we are having a backyard movie night. My family could not be more excited!
In planning an event of this type, I came up with some tips that definitely helped us and that I think could help you as well. Here they are:
We created the fun movie ticket above (printable so you can make your own) and attached it to a popcorn container. Then my kids picked a few of their friends to invite, and each attendee got an empty popcorn container along with the invite. No one forgot our party!
For us, this meant mowing the grass in the backyard and pruning back a few branches that might get in the way during the event. This took us less than an hour.
We set up everything and made certain the projector was working properly. We tested batteries on the flashlights we had outside, and replaced any light bulbs in the outdoor lights. This made everything run smoothly during our event. 5 Tips for Hosting the Perfect Backyard Movie Night
We went the easy route and had pizza delivered. My kids asked their friends what they liked to drink, so we had everyone’s favorites on hand.
Of course, no movie is complete without delicious, light, and fluffy Orville Redenbacher’s Movie Theater Butter Popcorn. We served some in their own convenient pop-up bowls, and we put others in the popcorn containers the kids brought. Honestly, we needed no other snacks because the kids loved the popcorn so much!
No matter what type of event you are planning, these tips can help you make it better. And, of course, make certain to always have Orville Redenbacher’s Movie Theater Butter Popcorn for a great snack anytime.
We love these Orville Redenbacher’s Movie Theater Butter Popcorn bowls because they pop up in minutes, giving you a delicious, light, and fluffy snack that’s perfect anytime. 5 Tips for Hosting the Perfect Backyard Movie Night
