10 Can't Miss Places in New York City
1. Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is a symbol of our Liberty and Freedom as Citizens of The United State of America. It is definitely something you want to experience when visiting NYC. You can take a ferry out to Ellis Island and take a tour of the Statue of Liberty, I would recommend buying your tickets ahead of time to avoid extremely long lines.
The Met is the largest art museum in the United States and if you are someone that appreciates a nice work of art, this will not be one that you want to skip out on. There are so many various kinds of art in the museum and it's a beautiful sight to see.
3. Central Park
Visiting Central Park is simply an iconic part of visiting New York City. It's a great way to spend a nice day with your family and friends, I recommend having a nice picnic in the park and it is simply a great way to enjoy a relaxing day.
Times Square is probably the busiest area in New York City because it is filled with so much stuff including restaurants, shopping, hotels, theaters and so much more! Times Square, especially at night is a one of kind experience.
5. The 9/11 Memorial
9/11 was a tragic time for the United States and the 9/11 memorial in New York City is such a beautiful tribute to it. I would highly recommend checking out this memorial because it is truly a part of history.
6. Broadway
You can't go to New York City without seeing a broadway show! NYC is the home to Broadway Theater and there are so many different Broadway shows that there is something for everyone. You will definitely be able to find one to fit your interests.

If you are looking for a nice, long walk to see beautiful views of New York the walk across the Brooklyn Bridge is the way to do so. The walk takes about 40 minutes in total so gear up for a lengthy walk.

Even if you are not traveling, simply visiting Grand Central Terminal is an exciting experience. It is the world's largest railway station and seeing everything occurring all at one time is truly fascinating.
If you love the zoo as much as I do, the Bronx Zoo is something you want to visit! It is located in the Bronx Park and is the largest metropolitan zoo in the world. It is in the top five zoos in the country and truly is a spectacular experience.
