My Visit to LiviRae Lingerie – Catch Double Divas Tuesday at 10PM EST on Lifetime #DoubleDivas
Last week I visited LiviRae Lingerie here in Kennesaw, Georgia. Now if the name doesn’t sound familiar, the show certainly should. LiviRae owners and best friends Molly Hopkins and Cynthia Richards are the hosts of the fabulous show, Double Divas. Double Divas is currently on Lifetime on Tuesdays at 10 PM EST.
HAVE YOU HEARD OF DOUBLE DIVAS?
“Double Divas” follows LiviRae owners and best friends Molly Hopkins and Cynthia Richards, the “Thomas Edison” of custom lingerie, as they display their natural talent helping women with any and all intimate apparel needs. Molly, who has the habit of acting as therapist to her customers, is on a mission to get women in to the right size bras…one cup at a time. Cynthia, LiviRae’s chief designer, brings her creative vision to life by designing sexy and sometimes quirky garments, giving customers an array of selections to spice up her (or his) life.
The series will follow the ladies as they travel across the region in their LiviRae brassiere branded truck on their way to fittings, bridal showers and various other bustier business. In the end, the two mavens make a dynamic duo that spreads their heart, soul and laughter with clients—wives, girlfriends, husbands and boyfriends—seeking answers to questions typically reserved for the bedroom.”

OUR VISIT TO LIVIRAE LINGERIE
My sister and I headed to the store on Valentine’s Day. Nothing like having another woman adjusting your breasts on Valentine’s Day, right?
We walked into the store and began to look around. My sister and I both noticed that there weren’t a lot of bras out but they sure had a lot of lingerie.
The store was pretty and crowded with merchandise but instead of feeling too busy, the place just invited you to look around. Feel the fabrics. Check out the things in the picture above.
After a few minutes, we were given fitting rooms and told to take off our bras. It was kind of like a doctors office but no stirrups. The consultant I was working with asked me a bunch of questions like what size I normally wear, what types of bras I like, etc. She said that she would be right back.
I had several misconceptions about bras. First, I thought that it was actual measurement but truthfully it is more of a fit that really determines what size you wear. Different manufacturers make different sizes. I have two different size bras from different makers and they both fit me perfectly.
It is the band that supports you, not the straps. As a general rule of thumb, most people wear a bra band that is two sizes too big and cup sizes that are two sizes too small. This was the case for both my sister and myself.
Bras can be functional, hold up well and still be pretty. This I had a hard time with at first but I came away with some beautiful bras that are extremely functional.
The brands don’t matter as much. For years, I would only wear certain brands in bras because I thought that they were the best. I have three new brands and after coming home, I searched for reviews online about the maker. Hands down, every single review was positive which means a lot to me. They are selling high quality brands at LiviRae.

Finally, trying on bras should be fun. It shouldn’t be a chore. I will admit that it was a little awkward at first having some stranger adjust and maneuver my breasts around but once I got used to it, I realized how knowledgeable my consultant was and how great I looked/felt in the bras she brought me.
They are on the something at LiviRae Lingerie. The fitting rooms are warm and comfortable without that awful fluorescent lighting that department stores seem to love. Instead the lighting was soft and there was no rush to make any decisions. Several of the bras I tried on several times.
I honestly had a hard time deciding because everything that she brought me looked good and felt good on. I wore one bra that night and I instantly knew that I had purchased the perfect bra when two people asked if I lost weight. My new fitting makes it look that way.
BRA TIPS FROM THE DOUBLE DIVAS MOLLY AND CYNTHIA
-If you only have one bra, make it a black lace bra
-Every women should own at least seven bras. You should have a bra for every day of the week because you wear them every day of the week.
-If you think you’re a D, you’re probably a G
-You should also have two to three basics, sport, strapless, sexy/fun and black lace bras
-If it’s remotely visible, it’s not a secret
-The newest bra trends are: high-waisted brief, panty with garters coupled with a retro bullet bra and sheer cups in neon colors
