Talking To Children About Childhood Hunger
I shared with you in my last post how passionate I am about hunger issues here in America especially when it comes to children. Of course, I do my part but it never feels...
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Quaker Oats for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
When you think of wholesome food, what comes to mind? Oatmeal has always been one of those things for me. I love oatmeal and frequently eat it for breakfast and so does the rest of my family.
In fact, I am always looking for quicker alternatives to breakfast since my family is always on the go. We have swim team and swim lessons, tennis, ballet, gymnastics, Scouts and so many more activities. Too many to count. We need fast and we need things on the go.
We were recently sent Quaker Soft Baked Bars to try out in our home. They sent us the Cinnamon Pecan Bread and Banana Nut Bread flavors.
Check out this picture:
Doesn't it just make your mouth water? The boxes didn't make it past the second day in my house. My kids loved these bars.
Quaker Soft Baked Bars taste great and:
• are only 140 calories
• come with 5g of Fiber
• offer 6g of Protein
• are an excellent source of 5 B-Vitamins
The Cinnamon Pecan Bread was absolutely delicious and is my new favorite breakfast snack. While I am not a big fan of bananas, the Banana Nut Bread had an excellent flavor and was the favorite of my youngest daughter.
I gave a few of the bars to some neighbors. The Cinnamon Pecan Bread was the overwhleming favorite as well. Now we are completely out of bars.
You should definitely try these. In fact, we will be buying more today!
