I love seeing the Colosseum from so many different angles! I wish I could go! (sidenote: the Lee denim ad is covering about a third of your blog post on the left and the sidebar on the right. I’m on Chrome).
Ah, Rome: The Eternal City. Perhaps one day I will see it again. I put my coin in that fountain, so I should.

Just trying to imagine the thousands of people that would gather there for the games. Even with all the people that live there now, it’s still a mind-boggling piece of architectural history. Thanks for sharing!
that would be so cool to go to Rome. What a great family vacation!
I’ve been to Switzerland twice (that’s where my mother was born), but have not been able to make it to Italy…yet.
Such awesome history! I would imagine it would be quite awe-inspiring to visit such ancient places. Wow!!
I’ve been to Italy but never Rome. Hopefully, next summer I will be able to visit Rome with my son. Your photos are quite lovely. Thanks for sharing and thank you so much for hosting this WW blog hop.

Amazing photos. It unbelievable that these have been here for over 2000 years. Now buildings won’t last 50 years.
