Since this mixture works as a scrub, you’ll not need to put in too much effort to get all the stains off of the iron, and doing this once every couple of weeks or in a month can keep your curling iron as shiny as new.
Cleaning a Flat Iron
Cleaning a flat iron is relatively simple and easy. All you need is a few cotton balls, some rubbing alcohol, and a warm, damp cloth. Make sure your flat iron is completely cool and unplugged when you’re cleaning it. Start by dipping a couple of cotton balls in alcohol, and then wiping your plates clean with those balls.
