NETGEAR Zing Mobile Hotspot from Sprint
I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Sprint. I received product samples to facilitate my review. With back to school in full swing, there are some tips that...
This truly is an amazing deal! The Nikon D3100 is an older model (released in 2010) but is a wonderful choice for a camera. Certainly, receiving the camera plus TWO lenses is another great reason to purchase this product as purchasing the lenses separately would cost you $396.90 alone! At this price, it is like you are paying only $100 for the camera!
Nikon D3200 24.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S DX VR NIKKOR Zoom Lens – $496.95
The Nikon D3200 is a newer model from the D3100, released in 2012. One upgrade is that is has 10 more megapixels than the D3100. It is a great camera for anyone looking to further their photography skills.
The Nikon D5100 is the camera that I purchased just about two years ago, it was released in spring 2011. While it does not have as many megapixels as the D3200, it has other features that make it different. One of my favorite specs is that the screen is not stationary like the other cameras – you can swivel and tilt the screen to take pictures from different angles. I have gotten some great shots that way!
Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras – $196.95
This lens is a great prime lens for portraits and product photography. With the low aperture, it is possible to get beautiful bokeh backgrounds in your photos for under $200. I love this lens!
Nikon 50mm f/1.8G AF-S NIKKOR FX Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras – $216.95
This lens is very similar to the 35mm, except that it has a longer focal length which means that more will be in the picture than if you were using the 35mm from the same exact spot. You really can't go wrong purchasing this lens.
Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 SLD DG Macro Lens with built in motor for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras – $144.00
This is a great lens to add to your collection. Many camera bodies come with a zoom lens, generally an 18-55mm. The difference is that this lens is a macro lens, meaning you can get very nice detail shots with it.
AmazonBasics Medium DSLR Gadget Bag – $19.99
I highly recommend purchasing something to protect your camera and lenses, as you are investing money into something expensive. This bag will comfortably hold a DSLR and two lenses, with movable velcro pockets to maximize your space. There are pockets and other areas to store other accessories such as memory cards, cords and cleaning materials.
Nikon 7072 Lens Pen Cleaning System – $6.60
A lens pen is crucial to keeping your lens in tip-top shape. One end will brush dust off of your lens and the other end will clean the lens perfectly. I recommend using this lens pen every time you get your camera out to take pictures.
SanDisk 16 GB Class 4 SDHC Flash Memory Card – $11.14
You will need to purchase an SD card to take pictures on your camera. A 16GB card will hold many pictures, so you can practice all that you want to without filling it up! For $11.14, you could purchase two so that you have a spare!
You can purchase the Nikon D3100 with two lenses, the camera bag, the lens pen and the SD card for only $536.06 total! You could also purchase the 35mm or the 50mm, which would bring only the total up to $750. The gift of photography is certainly one to make someone special in your life SMILE as they open their gifts.
