Electrolux and Kelly Ripa Launch Virtual Lemonade Stand

Kelly Ripa, one of my favorite celebrity moms, is teaming up with Electrolux to kick off a virtual lemonade stand campaign to help support the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, a cause close to Kelly and to women everywhere. Electrolux and Kelly Ripa are proud to support the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund whose mission is to fund research to find a method of early detection and ultimately a cure for Ovarian Cancer. Electrolux has committed to donate $500,000 to this worthy cause.

This summer, exclusively at electroluxappliances.com, you can design and open your own virtual lemonade stands and even pick the flavors of lemonade you want to feature.  For every lemonade stand opened at www.electroluxappliances.com, Electrolux will donate $1 to OCRF.  In addition, you can help the cause even more by selling virtual glasses of lemonade to your friends and family; 100 percent of the proceeds will go to OCRF.

How to Enter
OPEN YOUR OWN LEMONADE STAND

Open up your own lemonade stand to help support OCRF. Choose the color scheme, pick your sign, name your stand and select three flavors to sell. When you open a lemonade stand, you are automatically entered in the Open a Stand Sweepstakes for a chance to win an elegant new French Door Refrigerator with Perfect Temp Drawer™ from Electrolux.

VISIT YOUR STAND & SELL LEMONADE

Start by publicizing your stand. Send a note to your friends via Facebook or email, post to Twitter or place a badge on your Web pages. The first time you visit your stand each day and take an action, you are automatically entered in the Visit a Stand Sweepstakes for a chance to win a French Door Refrigerator. Check back weekly to add new flavors of lemonade to your stand and even download delicious recipes for a “real world” lemonade stand
