HVAC Repair or Replace
Preparing for the dog days of summer is most definitely something that should be on your spring checklist. We are officially in the dog days of summer which means your AC is working overtime just like mine. We have hit 100 degrees a few times this summer and there was no way were going outside.
It is especially tough during these days of mostly 90's and you know that you don’t want a faulty or broken A/C system, right? I know first hand because our AC broke down in the early fall last year just as the weather was getting colder. We were able to get by until spring when we just had to replace it and buy a new one. We called Sears Home Improvement because their experts can be trusted to replace or repair your heating and cooling systems.
We knew that we needed to replace our unit because it was almost 15 years old. It was just time. We are avid DIYers but that AC was not something that we could really take on ourselves. I know that there are a lot of options when it comes HVAC and I want make certain that I make the right decision for my family so I called an expert at Sears Home Services.
What I especially liked about the service was that I was given several different options in varying price points which really allowed me to make an educated decision when it comes to our HVAC at home.

It is absolutely impossible to survive a summer here in Las Vegas without proper air conditioning, so nothing worries me more than the possibility of something going wrong with one of our two units. Proper maintenance and regular inspections are definitely a good idea!
We have individual air condition units and have been looking into getting new units and I really want to get them from a store where I can also get them regularly maintained and inspected! This post was so helpful, I had no idea about all these credits and services that Sears offers!
Sears sounds like they have a really good option for when you need to buy a new appliance. It’s a scary time so I’m glad they make you feel covered.
This is really helpful. I should probably take a look at our unit and see if we need to do anything. Now would be a good time.
We had to repair ours at the beginning of summer. It’s over 10 years old, so I do feel that we’ll be needing a whole new until within the next few years. Thanks for the guide on what to look for!
Oh, this is a very informative post, especially for home owners. I will share this with my aunt.
Great info for people! We had some trouble with our HVAC recently and I wish I had known more about it beforehand!
Fantastic post! My husband and I were just talking about doing a list of things we need done for maintaining the health of our home: clean air vents, plumbing, etcetera. We do his at least 2 times a year and now that summer is winding down, it’s an ideal time to get our home re-checked. 🙂
This is so useful as hands up I would have no idea where to start when dealing with such an important item.
This is really great, great tips for knowing what to do. Our air conditioner sadly needs to be replaced.
I have been very thankful for my AC this summer. It has been to hot to go without it. I make sure I get the unit maintained every year.
This is great advice! Thinking about the air conditioning when it gets super hot out is way too late.
This is a great service Sears have for home owners. My parents AC has broken down several times so they know what it means to debate to repair or replace it.
