Connecting with my family and Choice Hotels

Connecting with my family and Choice Hotels

With the start of school, our family life has been a little crazy. Our kids go to two different schools and they all have a variety of activities that they are involved in. Each week there is swim team, ballet, jazz, soccer, Scouts and a few other activities that I am probably forgetting about.

Some days my husband and I don't see each other until 8 pm because we are constantly driving the kids around. Although we have a commitment to eat dinner together every single night as a family, that doesn't always happen like we would like it to happen.

What is missing are those moments where we really get to connect as a family. I miss our family during the week sometimes because we are so incredibly busy. Often I just want to hang out with my kids and husband so we can watch a movie or play some games (we like Uno and Jenga). School started about six weeks ago and we already need to re-connect as a family.

Last weekend we spent a few nights at Comfort Suites® Perimeter which is a Choice Hotels location. The great part is that we didn't have to travel far or visit a place, we just went right down the street to connect as a family.

Choice Hotels is comprised of 11 brands with over 5,000 locations in the US. We easily booked our stay on (they also have the Choice Hotels mobile app) and were able to check in that very same day. You can also earn loyalty rewards for each stay which gives you even more opportunities to connect with the people that you care about most, with its Choice Privileges® rewards program.

We stayed at the Comfort Suites Perimeter right near our house. It was a nice family staycation and it was the last weekend that the pool was open for the year. Our stay at Choice Hotels helped our family experience a weekend of fun. We loved the free breakfast, the swimming pool and you definitely couldn't beat the close location.
Choice Hotels offers a wide range of property choices to meet your travel needs.

Our stay was great. The front desk staff was friendly and personable. They made certain that we were well taken care of. They even called our room to tell us that they had freshly baked cookies available at the front desk.

My kids, my husband and I spent the entire weekend swimming and watching movies. We had such a wonderful time that we are already planning to do it again before the end of the year.
