Bausch + Lomb Biotrue Review

I have been using Biotrue® for about a month now. As I explained in my previous post, I am someone who suffers from allergies which leaves me with dry eyes a lot of the time.

I need a contact lens solutions that keeps my contacts from drying out and I was excited to give Biotrue® a shot to see if it made a difference for me when it came to contact lens wearing.

HOW BIOTRUE WORKS

When used daily, Biotrue® multi-purpose solution dissolves protein and cleans, loosens and removes accumulations of film, debris and deposits from soft contact lenses. Biotrue® helps prevent the formation of irritating deposits on the lens surface. It kills harmful microorganisms on the lens. While your lens is soaking, the formula envelops the lens in a moisture-rich cushion to help the lens remain comfortable throughout the day.

HOW BIOTRUE HAS WORKED FOR ME

It has been about a month now and I have already noticed a difference. I have been able to wear the same pair of contacts for the entire month and truthfully that doesn't happen too often. 

Although my contacts are designed to last for a month, they never usually last that long. There is buildup and other things from the air that just seem to ruin my contacts about two weeks in every time. Either that or I rip them from scrubbing them too hard in the solution.

With Biotrue, the buildup of film and debris didn't happen. My eyes stayed moist and my contacts felt good. Well I felt nothing at all when wearing them which is exactly as it should be. 

HOW TO USE BIOTRUE

STEP 1: Place at least 3 drops of Biotrue® multi-purpose solution on each side of lens surface and gently rub for 20 seconds.

STEP 2: Thoroughly rinse each side of the lens for 5 seconds with Biotrue® multi-purpose solution.

STEP 3: Place cleaned contact lenses in the lens case and fill with fresh Biotrue® multi-purpose solution. Soak at least 4 hours. Remember to always use fresh solution – discard solution from lens case after each use.
