Ingredients for the vanilla sugar scrub homemade

Directions for the vanilla sugar scrub recipe

  1. With rubbing alcohol swabs, thoroughly wipe your container of choice and set aside until dry.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, melt coconut oil.
  3. Add in vanilla, vitamin E oil, and sugar, and stir until well combined.
  4. Spoon your scrub into your large container and seal. Store in a covered container at room temperature for 24 hours.
  5. Place in a container of your choice for packaging. I used a jar that I had on hand but I just purchased the Le Parfait French Glass Canning Jars for my next batches. The wider the jar, the better for reaching in a scooping out unless you are packaging with one of these cute little wooden spoons attached. Simply drill a small hole into the handle of the spoon and attach to jar with ribbon.

How do you use sugar scrub?

In the shower, or bath, gently message on areas of dry skin, and rinse clean.

We hope that you are inspired by this Tahitian Vanilla Bean Scrub recipe. Happy crafting!
