The Importance of Saying Thank You

Those two words may not always seem important and they may be something that many of us forget but you should never underestimate the power of thanking someone.  However, knowing when to say thank you and really how to say thank you is not always as easy as it may seem.

The people that I find myself in need of constantly thanking are the teachers who teach my kids. I cannot imagine a more selfless job and a harder job than being a teacher. It takes patience, kindness and so much more to be able to teach our children. It really is a noble profession and we truly appreciate all of the teachers who have taught our kids.

For me, showing thanks is all done through food. There is no better way to show love and to say thank you than with Boston Coffee Cake.

About Boston Coffee Cake

It all started in 1992 with 2 brothers, a dream and a family recipe to bake the best coffee cake there was.  What started as a local, hand delivered specialty item now extends beyond Boston as a popular gift for friends and for business associates across the country.

The Original Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake launched the business and made Boston Coffee Cake famous. Large, premier walnuts, sour cream and a decadent layer of cinnamon sugar have made this cake the most popular variety for 25 years. Today there are more than 25 Boston CoffeeCake gourmet gifts that can be gifted not only as a “Thank” You, but for just about any occasion like birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, congratulations, or client and employee appreciation gifts, among others.

Over the years Boston Coffee Cake has been honored to receive many gold medals for Best Tasting Coffee Cakes in America.  And to top it off, its beautiful packaging adds to the overall gift-giving and gift-receiving experience.  You can see some of the most popular Boston Coffee Cakegifts at:

  16. Saying thank you seems something that most kids were never taught these days. The first class of students I ever taught in Sunday School (pre-k), graduated high school this year. I received 38 graduation announcements, and I sent responses to them all with a little something, not much, but all I could afford. I got a thank you back from 3 out of 38. Wow, just wow. When I was younger, we had to give the gifts back if we did not want to write a thank you card.

I love the idea of a coffee cake.
I have to agree with others, thank yous are becoming less common. Amazingly, I had won something and as usual sent an email when the prize arrived… the blogger had never ever gotten a thank you from a reader. I found that astounding to say the least.
