New Orleans Marriott Metairie

The New Orleans Marriott Metairie at Lakeway is a 16 floor hotel with 187 rooms and 33 suites located in an area with numerous nearby lakes and wildlife refuges.

All rooms at the New Orleans Marriott Metairie at Lakeway are air conditioned and non-smoking, and come with flat screen TVs with premium and pay per view channels, as well as wireless access. Many rooms have city or lake views, or a combination of the two.

Among the different types of rooms available are the standard guest room with one king sized bed or two double beds. This type of room features a coffee maker and a wet bar. The marble bathroom comes with a shower and tub combination and hair dryer. There are also executive suites that have a king sized bed and a sofabed. They have most of the amenities of the guest room, with an added complimentary bottled water.

Larger rooms with more amenities are available on the concierge level. The guest rooms have one king sized or two double beds, while the bedroom suites come with one king sized bed and a sofabed. The concierge level also has presidential suites with king sized beds and a spa-like bath.

Guests staying in these rooms have access to the concierge lounge, which is open weekday mornings from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., weekday evenings for receptions, and Sunday mornings.The lounge features a hot breakfast, hors d'oeuvres and desserts. Complementary non-alcoholic beverages are offered, with cocktails available for purchase. Guests can also take advantage of the lounge's honor bar and the private seating area.

For meals, the hotel offers continental and full American breakfasts. Guests can also take advantage of room service, which runs from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., or food delivery from local restaurants. Guests can also utilize the hotel's fitness center.

There is a $10 daily fee for on-site parking at the hotel and $20 a day for valet parking. There is complimentary self parking on the weekends. The hotel has several amenities and services all guests can use. These include safe deposit boxes, a gift/newsstand, valet dry cleaning, a shoeshine stand, on-site laundry and newspaper delivery to rooms.
