Supplies

Directions

  1. First, glue 8 popsicle sticks together side by side, leave the 9th aside.
  2. Now, paint the top about 1/4 of the sticks black, this will be the Snowman's hat.
  3. Paint the rest of the sticks white.
  4. Be sure to paint your 9th stick black as well, this is the brim of Snowman's hat.
  5. Now, paint on two rosy cheeks, two buttons eyes, and a button mouth. Use an orange Sharpie to draw the carrot orange nose.
  6. Allow all paint to dry. Once everything is dry, glue the 9th stick and the line where the black paint stops straight across.
  7. Flip the snowman over and glue ribbon in order to make a top loop, you can choose to tie your ribbon in a bow or not, personally I did.
  8. Hang on your tree.

This is such a perfect craft for the classroom or for those holiday class parties when you need a make and take craft for kids. The supplies are cheap, it's totally easy to modify the directions and it's the kind of thing that kids really love seeing on their Christmas tree. You can easily write their name on the back for identification. We hope that you are inspired by this DIY Popsicle Stick Snowman Ornament craft. Happy crafting!
