Coca-Cola and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) are announcing an initiative to help protect the polar bear’s home. The WWF is a longstanding partner of Coke.
Together, through “Arctic Home,” Coca-Cola and WWF are raising awareness and funds to protect the polar bear’s Arctic habitat. To start, Coke is making an initial $2 million donation to WWF for polar bear conservation. We are all invited to make a difference along with Coca Cola on behalf of the WWF.
To call attention to and highlight this amazing cause, Coke is turning its iconic red Coke cans white for the first time ever. You can even look for white bottle caps on popular Coca-Cola products this holiday season as well.
For everyone who texts the package code to 357357 to make a $1 donation to WWF, Coke will match it — up to $1 million! People can also make donations online at ArcticHome.com, starting November 1. The limited-edition white cans and bottle caps will be on store shelves November 1, 2011 to February 2012.
