Back to School with Target Items for Different Outfits & Looks

Stay Organized and Stylish for the School with Target

My daughter is an avid shopper. I mean she LOVES shopping as much as I do. For this last post, I took my daughter shopping to get everything that she needed for back to school at Target. We shopped for hours and came home with 23 tops, bottoms, sweaters and a jacket. With those items we were able to come up with countless looks for the entire school year and I didn't even talk about all of the accessories we purchased as well. I let my daughter put her fashionista skills to work and come up with the perfect back to school wardrobe. What I love about Target is that the prices are great and the clothing is nice. It holds up wash after wash yet still looks brand new. Items don't fall apart and this clothing will definitely last until she grows out of it. What my daughter likes about Target is that she gets a lot for the money. We gave her a budget and she stuck to it exactly but got way more than she thought she would.

Back to School Outfit Inspiration: Trending looks for different school styles

We bought 23 items of clothing and once we got home, we were able to put together over 26 looks right away using different pieces in different ways. The great part about living in Georgia is that at least half of our school year is the perfect weather for shorts and when it gets cold, it is not too cold but we did add that fabulous dark leopard print jacket that will pretty much go with anything. Here are some of the other combinations that we can come up with that can really give you even more ideas of what to put together: My daughter also has some tips that she wanted to share about how to best shop for back to school. Annabella is 9 and she knows fashion! Here is what she had to share:

Pick clothes that look good on you.

Annabella says don't be afraid to try lots of things on and make sure that you look good in them. I would have never tried on the dress (pictured above) had I not seen another girl in it. It looked great on her and I loved it when I put it on.

Try colors out.

I don't always pick my favorite colors. Sometimes I try other colors because I might look really good in other colors as well.

Pick a few things that are in your favorite colors.

I always pick a few things that are my favorite colors because I know that I also have clothes at home that will match. I can come up with a lot more outfits when I do this.

Don't forget the accessories.

I love scarves, hairbows and headbands, jewelry and lots more. I pick things in lots of different colors and I often will wear anything that looks good with the outfit that I put on.

Be comfortable AND fashionable.

I want my clothes to look good and feel good which is why I try everything on first. All of the tshirts I picked feel very soft and so do the skirts. This leopard print rain jacket is stylish and feels great. I want to be comfortable.
