Here in Georgia, we get some seriously warm weather and with that warm weather seems to come fleas. With nearly 75% of U.S. pet households reporting at least one flea and tick infestation each year, proper care is needed to prevent outbreaks. (Kelton Flea & Tick Study, 2013) Flea and tick outbreaks are triggered by changes in temperature and humidity, often catching families off-guard and vulnerable to infestation. This is what seems to happen every year in Georgia. We love our dogs and we want to do everything that we can to take care of them so we use Adams Flea & Tick Control Products.

ABOUT ADAMS

One of our favorite products for helping with fleas and ticks is Adams for Dogs Flea & Tick Spot On®. What I love is that it lasts for up to 30 days and prevents flea re-infestation along with killing adult fleas and ticks. By preventing re-infestation, the product is killing flea eggs and larvae plus it kills and repels mosquitoes.

Adams brand offers a wide variety of products so you can treat your pet, your yard and your home. Adams™ brand does all three on a regular basis! Here are just a few items:

  • Adams™ for Dogs Flea & Tick Spot On® with Free Adams™ Smart Shield® Applicator (When purchased at Walmart)
  • Adams™ Flea & Tick Spray
  • Adams™ Flea & Tick Cleansing Shampoo
  • Adams™ Flea & Tick Home Spray

We especially love the Adams Smart Shield® applicator which is a breakthrough topical flea and tick control delivery device designed to work with Adams Spot On® products. You can get the Smart Shield® applicator for free at WalMart when you purchase Adams for Dogs Flea & Tick Spot On®.

The applicator makes it so much easier to apply the product to your pets and treatments cost less than most vet brands, which is always a bonus. “The patented dog-applicator design is easy to grip, helps part fur for direct application to the dog’s skin (where the bugs live) and effectively keeps liquid off hands, empowering pet owners with the confidence to apply treatment by themselves, without a mess.”

If you want to stay smart about flea and tick control, you need to treat your pets, home and yard on a regular basis. This helps eliminate the fleas and ticks at the source that includes killing the adults and the eggs. Staying vigilant means happy pets AND happy owners.
