Wordless Wednesday – Bubble Boy

My son is obsessed with chewing gum and blowing bubbles. Day after day, minute after minute, pretty much every second of the day he is asking me to take his picture as he blows a bubble.

“Mommy, check this one out.”

“Mommy! LOOK!”

“Mommy, this is the biggest bubble ever.”

“NOW! NOW! LOOK NOW!”

“YOU ARE NOT LOOKING! LOOK AT THIS BUBBLE, MOMMY!”

“Mommy, can you at least pretend to care about my bubbles?” (think he listens to me talk to his dad too much?)

Yep. Obsessed.

I am still playing around with Picnik and experimenting with all of the fun things that you can do.

  31. I honestly didn’t know how to blow a bubble until I was a teenager. We didn’t get bubble gum as kids. I have no idea why. I remember getting hard candy at Christmas. Mighty hard to blow bubbles with that.
Messing with pictures is fun. I’m trying to learn that free program…Gimp2. It does some amazing stuff but I’m just learning. So many buttons, so little brain cells left. LOL
    Stopping by for your WW.

Heeheee…I am a gum addict so could never say no to my kids really. I actually won a bubble blowing contest at a concert once. Faves are the colorful bubble gum balls sold in a row. Your little guy looks so proud! I have removed my fair share of gum from hair, clothing, and carpet. Maybe when a person hits 30…er…40…umm…OK OK 50, they should “stick” to something else for a treat? LOL!
Love the pic with the big eyes!

  49. ellen

Too cute! Boys & bubbles go together like peas & carrots. Then you find gum in their hair, on clothes , stuck all over 🙂
Love the pics you have of him!

  50. Impressive bubble blowing…and fun effects, too.
