We were recently invited to attend a WNBA game on Sunday, June 13th. The Atlanta Dream was playing the San Antonio Silver Stars. It also happened to be Dads & Daughters Night which really made it fun!
We made it an entire day for the family. Everyone met for lunch and then we headed off to the game. I had to stop to take a quick picture of the kids in their matching t-shirts (sent to us courtesy of the Atlanta Dream and the WNBA).
The games are as exciting as any sporting event that I have been to. The energy is amazing and these women are some stellar athletes AND mothers.
There were many giveaways during the game. My kids especially loved the Atlanta Dream tattoos although the highlight was when they were dropping stuffed animals from the roof. These animals floated down on little parachutes. The crowd went crazy!
The kids were enthralled and we all cheered throughout the entire game. It was an exciting end when the game came down to the last few minutes. No worries though because Atlanta pulled it off winning the game and definitely the love of the crowd.
