Tax season is in full swing. For many of us, a refund might be coming our way and for others, there might be some payments made to the IRS. This year we are maximizing our tax refund by getting our daughter connected through Walmart Family Mobile.
We headed to our local Walmart store after making certain that they had the phone we picked out in stock. We wanted to check out all of the phones but mostly we were interested in purchasing the Samsung Galaxy Avant prepaid phone.

Our daughter is involved in a lot of activities after school that she really loves being a part of. In the past several months, we have noticed that she has been calling us more and more but to do so, she has been having to borrow people's phones. Finally one day, I looked at my husband and said that we really need to get her a phone of her own. Now when you watch the video, you will absolutely see how excited she is to get her phone.
For our daughter, we chose the Samsung Galaxy Avant and the Walmart Family Mobile plan. Walmart Family Mobile's NEW 4G LTE service is exactly what you need to stay connected at top speeds. We purchased the Samsung Galaxy Avant ($149.00) and then opted for the $29.88/month (for the first line) Unlimited Talk, Text & Data service plan which includes up to 500MB of 4G LTE data. We also needed to purchase the $25.00 starter kit to get the phone up and running.
The plan and the phone are perfect for our Tax Time refund. This is not your typical prepaid service, it is a postpaid service which means we can stay on top of everything that our daughter is using her phone for and we know when the bill needs to be paid. She can let us know herself.

Our daughter is thrilled with her new phone and has been taking great care of it. Walmart Family Mobile was easy to sign up for and it is easy to keep track of her phone.
It sounds like a great plan. It’s definitely something I would like to look into more when my son is old enough to get a phone.

I think the Family Mobile plan at Walmart is a very smart way to go. We have 4 of us using cell phones and our bills is almost $250 a month 🙁

For years, I opted to using these types of plans and would always purchase them from Walmart. Over the years my phone needs changed to I changed to a contract, but I still having been looking over something like this for my parents. They hardly use their phone so something like this would be perfect for them.
Sounds like a great plan to get. It’s so hard finding a good deal on cellphones these days. My monthly bill is huge, I’m waiting for my contract to end so I can get a better deal.

I did my taxes early part of February, and one of the first things I bought was a new phone! I was in dire need of one since my last one was severely cracked. My son would be so thrilled to have a phone of his own, but I’m going to wait a little longer sine I’m afraid he’d find way to make unnecessary purchases on apps. 🙂
