This is our year. The year that my family has really discovered fitness together. We are spending more and more time outdoors but more than that, we are getting fit together. We have joined the Friday Family Fitness Program at my son's school where we do some family exercises to a Fit Kids video with several other families in the gym. My kids love it and they are really making a great effort.
This is very exciting for me as a mother because I get to spend more time with my children and I get so excited when I see them making healthier choices. They choose water or milk instead of soda or juice 99% of the time. Just that one change makes me ecstatic. The kids are even asking to exercise and they especially love the Wii Fit with all of its family friendly activities.
I am very excited to be participating in the We Fit Families Mothers Day Bash. The WeFitFamilies.com community is a great place to start. I get ideas on everything from fitness ideas to recipes to awesome deals available.
