I have always been partial to the chambray jackets or sometimes just larger shirts worn as a jacket. I is enough on most cooler nights to take the chill off I also lik the denim. I think both hold up quite well and I am pretty active. Lovely jackets allof them.

Seriously,  most of these look like teen jackets . Could you please put a little class in your clothing that would appeal to 50 + . It seems so many department stores confuse teen clothing with “women’s dept” also.  I truly hope to see some stylish outfits on this website. Do we really want to dress like a high schooler?

    • Stacie

Wow Sandra. You seem super angry. If you read the post, you would see that many of these jackets are for women of all ages. Since when is a jean jacket only for high schoolers? Here is a picture of the fabulous Christie Brinkley wearing a jean jacket: http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/10/28/article-2478343-1909BAA200000578-209_634x940.jpg ~ I think she looks amazing and classy. I bet most people would agree with me and I am fairly certain that no one would tell her that she is trying to dress like a high schooler. Class, much like trolling comments, is in the eye beholder.

See a few similar jean jackets in my post and make certain to click on the link to buy through my affiliate link. Have a fabulous day and happy shopping!

Are you serious right now? My GF is 61, and she routinely wears jackets like this. AND she looks super freaking good in them, so I fully support these as trendy jackets for women. Being stylish doesn’t mean frumping it up, FYI.

  3. Oh, I LOVE all of these! I remember when trendy jackets for women over 50 meant some frumpy thing that made you look like a librarian or something. I’m glad to see that it’s becoming the norm to look chic no matter what your age. YAY!

  4. Catherine Sargent

We have one more heat wave headed our way and then it should officially feel like fall. I love the longer jackets you recommended. Not a style I currently own, but want to.

  12. That Lucky Break jacket is to die for. I love the color and the way it lays.

  13. Those are all really cite. I am a huge fan of fall and all of the fashions it brings with it. It’s truly my favorite time of year.

  15. Our Family World

These jackets are all lovely suggestions. A denim jacket is a staple in my wardrobe. If I were to add more, I’d go for the Olive Green Suede Moto Jacket and the Suede with Love Tan Suede Moto Jacket. They would go well with a casual or semi-formal attire.

  16. Annemarie LeBlanc

Nice suggestions for jackets this fall. If I were to get a new one, I would go for the green jacket. That would be great for a casual or formal attire.
