Winter is right around the corner and I’m trying to avoid sickness in my home. There are several things we are doing around here to keep my family healthy. Is your family interested in staying healthy this year? These Tips for Keeping Your Family Healthy should help!

Drink lots of water

When it comes down to it, your body needs lots of water to stay healthy. Consider that as much as 60 percent of the adult human body is water, and that will tell you how much you need it. Water helps rid the body of all the nasty toxins.

Washing hands is a big deal

You may not understand the implications of being relaxed about hand washing until someone in your family gets sick. The best thing you can do to keep your family healthy this year is to make sure everyone washes their hands—often. It’s amazing how this one simple habit can help keep bacteria away from your family.

Don’t share germs

This doesn’t seem very nice, but it is in fact a good move. By not sharing things like cups, food, chapstick, and so on, everyone can stay healthier. Germs spread like wildfire, so it’s best to avoid it at all costs. One of the only ways to avoid it is to avoid sharing with those you love.

Stay active with your kids

Your body needs you to stay active to help it stay healthy. A healthy body is much less likely to experience extended sickness. Don’t let the winter weather keep you indoors and sedentary. Go to the park on a cold day and play tag to keep warm, take family walks in the rain, go sledding in the snow, play together and be as active as possible. Being active with your kids also helps them to learn lifelong healthy habits.

Tips for Keeping Your Family Healthy #IamBiotic #FlorastorKidsUse Florastor on the daily

FlorastorKids is a probiotic your kids can take daily to help them stay healthy this year. This specific probiotic is great for gut health and the immune system. We love using FlorastorKids because it’s a natural product that complements the healthy lifestyle that we have built within our family. Taking daily probiotics from Florastor helps to strengthen the digestive system helping your kids build a healthy immune system.

Tips for Keeping Your Family Healthy #IamBiotic #FlorastorKidsDid you know that 70% of your immune system is held in your digestive tract? Florastor can help your gut to break down carbs, fibers, absorb water, absorb nutrients, and so much more. Florastor isn’t just for kids, it’s perfect for kids, parents, grandparents and even non-parents!

I think my favorite part of Florastor is that you don’t have to refrigerate it. You can just throw it in your bag and take it where you need to go. It’s a mix, so you can put it in whatever drink you need to. FlorastorKids is a hit around here and I don’t have to fight my kids to take it!
