Pair Up with JCPenney and Give Back for Back to School #SoWorthIt

School just started this week here in Georgia. This past week leading up to the first day has been crazy because there are just so many things to do. Three kids going to three different schools. We drive carpool everyday. All three kids also have before or after school activities. Three sets of paperwork. The TO DO list is still getting done. The picture above is my oldest child who was about to start high school. We hope that you enjoy this Pair Up with JCPenney and Give Back for Back to School #SoWorthIt post.

Clothes shopping was at the top our list. When it came time to shop for clothes, we went to JCPenney because my kids want cute, on-trend clothing and I want clothing that is affordable. I look for everyday value in whatever we buy. I want things that are made to last and that my kids will want to wear. This makes shopping at JCPenney so worth it!

This year we not only shopped at JCPenney for Back to School, we had the opportunity to also Pair Up with JCPenney. Did you know that 40% of low income parents worry about their child having enough socks and underwear? 55% of children who did not have underwear and socks to wear wanted to skip school or refused to go to school because they were embarrassed by not having any. JCPenney invites you to Pair Up and help areas where underserved children across the country are going back to school without basic clothing essentials like socks and underwear.

The JCP Pair Up is a giving program that runs from August 1-15, 2017. For each pack of kids’ socks or underwear you buy, JCPenney will donate a pack to the Y to help kids in need—up to 750,000 pairs. In addition to the Pair Up program, The JCPenney Foundation is making a $1M donation to the Y to help close the academic achievement gap.

We bought 6 packs of socks and 8 packs of underwear. My kids were excited and would have loved to buy even more! I love that fact that we are giving and that when buying something that my children need, another child will benefit.

JCPenney offers both value and clothes that my kids are guaranteed to love. Because JCP is so affordable, I was able to get a lot more for our money which meant that my son could get a few more things that he needed. JCPenney offers many brands at great price points. We made one-stop for clothes for the family.

All three kids got new clothes and underwear during our back to school shopping trip. My son really needed new clothes and we scored some great items for him. My middle child got exactly what she needed.

Our daughter (in the middle) is wearing the French Toast Two Tab Scooter Scooter Skirt for Girls along with the GoldToe Jersey No Show Socks. She is wearing an Arizona Burnout T-Shirt under her uniform sweatshirt.

My son is wearing Arizona Chino Shorts paired with his favorite Arizona Long Sleeve Henley Shirt (this is a few years old but we have linked to the current shirt). He also has a plain white tee: Arizona Crewneck Jersey T-Shirt.

In this picture, my son is wearing Xersion Zone Cushioned Crew Socks in black, Arizona Crewneck Jersey T-Shirt and these Dickies Relaxed-Fit Cargo Shorts that he tries to wear every single day because he says they are so comfortable. His plaid IZOD shirt was purchased a few years ago from JCPenney. We found a great Arizona men's plaid shirt here. Also pictured are his ubiquitous Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Sneakers.

Here is a breakdown of what we purchased for each kid:

See the Pair Up video

This is such a moving video. It tells the story of a child who is in need and is embarrassed by that need. It just makes you want to do more.
