Orange Creamsicle Cake Bars Recipe

Orange Creamsicle Cake Bars Recipe

Confession time: We can't stop making this recipe. Seriously friends, I don't how and don't know why (because it's super delicious maybe?) but we have been on an orange creamsicle cake bars recipe kick lately.

Truth to be told this is one of those recipes that's so easy to make you find yourself going for it again and again. Yes, it delicious, yes it's totally drool-worthy, but the fact that's so easy to make is what makes it extremely appealing.

That and the fact that the flavor combo is just out of this world good. I mean can we please talk about that for a hot second? It's made with chocolate and orange a lightly sweet chocolate cake base and then a citrus and creamy frosting. If I could only eat one cake for the rest of my life, this would probably be it.

The cake is incredibly rich and moist, and I'm talking about the melt in your mouth, slightly fudgy chocolate cake that we all dream about. The frosting, on the other hand, is light and fluffy (almost airy) and packed with a sweet hint of orange flavors.

Oh my gosh, just talking about it is making me drool. But besides all the deliciousness packed in this cake, what makes it be one of the best things I've ever had is how easy it is to cook.

Maybe it's because I'm a busy mom managing one too many things, but easy recipes win my heart every.single.time. And this is as easy as it can get. You don't need crazy ingredients, or follow difficult instructions, you don't even need to wait a lot of time for it to bake! I mean if easy cake recipes aren't the best thing on Earth, I don't know what is.

This cake does sound amazing, and sure looks good, too. One of my favorite flavor combos is orange and chocolate.
