Ingredients

Directions

  1. Spray a 8 x 8 pan with non stick cooking spray.
  2. Pour the JELLO into a large bowl, add 2 cups boiling water and stir until dissolved.
  3. Pour into the pan and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  4. In another bowl add 1/4 cup cold water. Sprinkle gelatin packet over top and let stand for several minutes.
  5. Stir in 3/4 cups boiling water and sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
  6. Allow to cool.
  7. Invert red JELLO pan onto cutting board or wax paper.
  8. With a heart cookie cutter, cut hearts out of the jello. Cut as many as you can fit, but you may not use all of them in the next step.
  9. Spray the pan with cooking spray again.
  10. Arrange the hearts in the pan being careful to leave room for white in between each.
  11. Pour condensed milk mixture around the hearts and place in the refrigerator for several hours until firm.
  12. Remove from pan and cut into squares.

    That is super cute and your pictures are fantastic. I can imagine you making these things with the Girl Scouts I bet they would have a ball. These would be great with a luncheon ! Fancy them up a bit and they would really make an impression.
