Create a Conditioning Shield

A great way to prevent damage is by not allowing that chlorine to sink into your hair. You can do this by creating a shield with things like conditioner or even a leave in conditioner. The conditioner will help to prevent the chlorine from sinking in.

Rinse Your Hair

If you are looking for natural ways to remove chlorine from hair, then water is absolutely it. Some pools won't let you use leave in conditioner so if that's the case, make certain to rinse your hair before going into the pool. When you get out of the pool it is so important to rinse your hair right away. It is not completely necessary to actually wash your hair after swimming but you really should rinse your hair because because if you don't rinse the chlorine out of your hair it will just sit on your hair and sink in causing that damage that you don't want. That's right. Rinse your hair before the pool and right after the pool.

Wear a Cap

If you are one that swims a lot and you want to prevent any damage in your hair from the chlorine a great way to do so is to wear a swim cap. It may not be the most flattering look but it is a great way to save your hair from any damage and prevent it from getting wet as well.
