Ok I have to be honest. Since these are lower in fat, I expected them to taste accordingly. I mean I eat lower fat food (I try hard to do this) but I don’t always have high expectations because I totally get that it is a tradeoff. And I am fine with that.

Both flavors of chips far exceeded my expectations. In fact, I then hid both bags so my family couldn’t try them. I next started feeling bad so I took them back out to see what they thought as well.

My husband is a chef and a foodie. He owns a restaurant. He is convinced that anything low in calories is also very low in taste. He has no expectations when it comes to food like this because it is hard to even get him to try anything.

My kids would actually love these…and i know they are teens and not going to give up chips, so might as well buy what is better for them. I am going to go check out all the nutritional info on these. Thanks!

I am constantly trying things because I want to give my kids what they want yet I would love for these things to have less fat, less calories, more natural ingredients. I love everything about these.

I like that these look like doritos and tortilla chips. Being pleasing to the eye is so important to kids. I can’t wait to try them out.

I absolutely 100% agree with you and this is what I think some companies seem to forget when it comes to kids. This is why foods like the green Mac & Cheese and the green Ketchup didn’t last for long. Because those who consume it as an integral part of their childhood (I still remember it being one of the first foods I made and shared with my sister straight out of the pot) – those people cannot stand when their beloved favorites turned green. I mean…ewwww…might head might have exploded had that happened to me as child.

I guess what I am trying to say is that you want me to eat your sort of Dorito competitor…it better be darn close looking to even get me to try it. They did a nice job here. Got the texture right too (which is an entirely new set of challenges).
