Get to Know Branson, Missouri

Since I spent years living in Missouri, I know what a great state it is and I would welcome the chance to go back to visit. Branson seems like the perfect place to visit and take your children or indeed your entire family (think family reunion).

There are several things that we would do if my family went on vacation to Branson, Missouri!

First, there are several great hotels that would definitely stay at. The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing Hotel is perfect for those who want a downtown location. They even offer one and two bedroom condos with kitchens and private balcony's. The hotel has waterfront shopping, lots of dining options and is close to the great entertainment district.

Another great hotel option is the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. This spacious hotel is also close to the city center and appeals to business plus leisure travelers alike. My children would love the pool (I personally love the poolside cabanas) and my husband would love the on property steakhouse!

Since both hotels are located in Historic Downtown Branson, we would have a tough time choosing between the two.

I am thinking that the best time to visit would be around the National Kid's Fest which is held in June and July of every year. There are rides, attractions, shows, dances and dining options that truly offer something for everyone!

In addition to the festival, my family and I would want to:

Visit one, two or three of the 49 live theatres

Perhaps play a round or two of golf at one of the many Branson golf courses or maybe even take some lessons

Swim and play in Table Rock Lake

Check out Silver Dollar City (home to the National Kid's Fest)

Shop until we drop and find some amazing deals at the outlet malls

Revisit history and learn more about the famous ship at one of the Titanic Museums

There is so much to do in Branson that it really is the perfect vacation spot for families.
