  1. Allow the custard to soften slightly on the counter.  Place in a large bowl with the cherries.  Fold together.  Pour the custard into the pie crust and freeze.
  2. Warm the cream in the microwave. It is hot enough when it starts to bubble.  Pour in the chocolate and allow it to rest for one minute.  Wisk together to form a ganache.
  3. Pour the ganache over the frozen pie.  Place pie in the freezer for several hours.
  4. Serve with whipped cream.

There is just something so inherently delicious about an ice cream pie and it's even better when it's made with frozen custard. There is just something about having crust, toppings and ice cream or frozen custard all melded together in one perfect dish. This ice cream pie is so easy that you will want to make it again and again. You can make them as edible gifts or just to have a few extra in your freezer. We hope that you are inspired by this No Bake Frozen Cherry Custard Pie Recipe. Happy creating!

These flavors are fantastic! I would def go for an assemble yourself parfait bar with several flavors of custard and lots of choices for the parfait layers….brownie chunks, pound cake cubes, broken cookies, whipped cream, raspberries, chocolate chips, chopped nuts, granola, diced peanut butter cups, banana slices, etc.
