Directions

  1. Begin by cutting out the shape of a tie from your scrapbook paper. This may take a few attempts to get the shape right. Be patient and just try cutting a basic triangle that goes into a diamond shape. This should give you the shape you are after.
  2. Apply some glue to the back of the tie cut out and press it to the flower pot. Run your finger over it well to remove any bubbles or wrinkles.
  3. You can seal the top of the cut out with a clear Mod Podge if you wish or just leave it as is.
  4. Fill your flower pot as you normally would. Add a little gravel for drainage and then follow up with your soil and plant.
