Cruise ships must address the entertainment needs of a wide cross-section of passengers and the Disney Dream cruise ship is no exception. Currently the largest of the Disney cruise ships, it offers guests a number of entertainment options. Some options cater just to kids, while others cater to families. The ship also provides adults-only venues.

 
In line with Disney’s cinematic roots and Broadway presence, the ship includes theaters. The theaters screen films, including standard and 3D showings. One of theaters offers live performances where families can take in musicals or watch revue-style shows. Families can also participate in meet-and-greet events with famous Disney characters.

The ship also hosts a number of number pools and a water coaster. There is a pool for young children, as well as a separate pool available for families and an adults-only pool for parents. The water-coaster runs 765 feet over 4 decks.The health-conscious have a full gym available to them, where seminars and classes are offered. For those that like sports better than gyms, sports simulators and a basketball court offer another option. Guests that prefer relaxation over working out can pay a visit to the spa for a massage.

There are numerous shipboard dining options. Guests can opt to eat in full restaurants or casual dining eateries, visit cafes or drop by several snack bars spread out across the ship. The ship also provides adults-only bars and nightclubs, along with family-friendly lounges. 24-hour room service is also available for passengers.To help stick with the family-oriented theme, there are kids clubs and activities that cater to different age groups, ranging from a nursery for the very young to a teen-themed center. The clubs and centers offer options ranging from video games and internet access to supervised activities and live entertainment. For families that love video games, there is a full arcade available.

The ship is also home to several shops where passengers can snag a forgotten necessity, pick up a memento or grab a souvenir from the trip for their kids.The Disney Dream cruise ship entertainment options aim to provide choices that serve the needs of kids and parents alike. By offering supervised activities, parents can get a break from constant supervision and planning, while family-friendly options allow for group memories.

    The Disney Dream cruise ship looks so amazing. I would love to surprise my family with a trip on it. We love to go on cruises. It is hard to remember it is a ship when you look at everything they have.
