Find Your Perfect Ride Without the Hassle: Essential Auto Show Tips

It's hard to believe, but our son is officially 16 years old! If you checked out our last post, Handing Over the Keys, you know this means he is already officially driving. Naturally as he approached his birthday he became more and more interested in cars, so we knew it was only a matter of time before we needed to explore buying another car that he could use. We needed a helpful place to research and have our questions answered, which is where Auto Navigator® by Capital One came into play.

What is Auto Navigator?

Auto Navigator by Capital One is a digital find and financing site that has simplified the car buying process for us as we navigate these new waters of teenage driving. From the moment we realized we would need to purchase a new car for our son, we’ve used Auto Navigator as our trusted expert.

The site has made our car-buying process easier because we can browse almost 4 million cars from nearly 13,000 participating dealers, find out if we are eligible to pre-qualify for financing with no impact to our credit score, and get to see financing terms BEFORE going to the dealer. This is a huge help to us as we search for a budget- friendly car!

Capital One’s Auto Learning Center has also become a go-to resource for us as we teach him the ins and outs of owning a car. There is so much more to know beyond how “cool” a car looks!

Auto Navigator at the Atlanta International Auto Show

Capital One invited us to attend the Atlanta International Auto Show and while we were there, we checked out their Auto Navigator Garage. This was the perfect opportunity to look at cars with our son and compare prices among our top choices.

While we spent time at the Garage and explored what the rest of the show had to offer, we were able to use Auto Navigator to find cars that we were interested in. Even better, we were able to preview Auto Navigator’s new augmented reality feature to scan our preferred car and locate similar ones in the area in case we wanted to check them out in person. My favorite part of visiting the Garage was a fun, interactive experience where you were asked a series of questions designed to build your “dream car”. After answering a few questions, your dream car would pop up on the screen! My husband took the quiz as well and his dream car looks exactly like what he drives now. So accurate!
