If your home is like mine, then you are probably already into full holiday mode! I mean there are so many parties and gathering and meetings during this season that’s almost crazy! We have Thanksgiving, and Halloween and all the fun fall activities (like game watching parties), and that means that there a ton of food and appetizers that need to be made.

This season is also the official pie season and it’s the perfect time of the year to go apple picking with friends and family which results in a ton of apples laying around in your kitchen begging to be used. So if we mix those 3 things together (the need fro delicious appetizers, the pie season and all the apples laying around) we end up with this delicious bite sized apple pie.

This tastes like the big pie we make for parties and gathering except that’s really easy to make and it’s way more fun (because everything bite sized is better!). It makes not only the best appetizer but also a really delicious and laid back dessert for something like Thanksgiving (which is especially handy if you are hosting dinner for a crowd).

However, the best part about this recipe and the one that has made me fell completely head over heels in love with it is that it’s so delicious! And when I say delicious I actually mean that this bite sized apple pie is to die for! It’s spicy and warm and crunchy, and it’s chockfull of all that apple flavor we know and love. The crust is also incredibly flavorful and while you can definitely go with the store-bought one the made from scratch one doesn’t take a ton of time, and it’s totally worth it!
