EASY BREAKFAST RECIPE: Bacon & Egg Cups Did you know that family meals eaten at home have been proven to benefit the health and wellness of children and adolescents, to fight obesity, substance abuse...

I am a breakfast person. I always have been. I can eat breakfast any time of the day and in fact, breakfast foods are pretty much my all time favorite. The best place to eat breakfast, in my opinion, is in bed when someone else has cooked it for you! Am I right?
Do you know how important it is to eat breakfast every day? I know that we have all heard for years about the importance of eating breakfast. The word breakfast means break the fast because our bodies go into fasting mode as we sleep overnight. Breaking that fast is important for our metabolism and it's also a great way to start your day.
There is just something so incredibly decadent about someone else preparing your favorite meal and bringing it to you in bed. I love that someone thought that much about me and spent time on me. I love having my kids jump in bed with me so we can all share what was made. I have long preached about eating breakfast for any meal but breakfast in bed has got to be one of my all time favorite things.
There is no better day for breakfast in bed than Mother's Day. As far as I am concerned, every day is a good day for breakfast but Mother's Day is THE day for breakfast in bed, especially when you have kids.
Melissa from All Things Chic shares, “I love snuggling with my kids and sipping coffee out of an actual coffee cup – instead of my eternal travel mug!!”
Kristin from Take Time for Style shares, “I love the quiet that comes with breakfast in bed. For a few moments, I can pretend that the chaos in the rest of the house doesn't exist. Bliss!”
Along with that breakfast in bed, this is an opportunity to tell that person how much you love them. The best way to share your feelings is with a greeting card. The greeting card aisle at Target is packed full of every type of card imaginable. Target's greeting card section is full of Mother's Day cards so you can shop for your mom today.
Find the perfect card that lets you be serious, funny or even write your own with card that's blank inside. No matter what you want to say, you can find a card to express those feelings.
